SEO Copywriting: Sell Your Words

Best deal for text link ads

link

I wrote this post because sometime I found that many webmasters even on webmaster’s forums still confused on how to get or build quality backlinks to their website quickly but efficiently. Yes there are many ways to start building link popularity, such as by submitting articles to article directory, by putting their links into the forum signatures, commenting on other’s blogpost, and etc. But the most important thing and sometime they are forget about it is about relevancy. It’s very important to get real backlinks with relevancy beside the quality itself. While ‘quality’ matter is really arguable, I mean who does really can decide about the link’s quality, according to what aspect does it scored as quality links, and many other reasons. But about relevancy and quantity, it’s countable am I right? so it would be great for you webmasters to join some text link advertising program to start build your link popularity.

Perhaps there also a hot discussion about buy text link ads and sell text link ads thing isn’t fair and it will bring your site penalized by search engine. But as far as I know it will not. Why? It’s just because that it is the nature of the web itself. Website linking each others that’s the fact. Then the only problem is on how do we play on it, the point is relevancy, as long as your links is relevant, there will be nothing to worry about your site rank in the future.

SEO Tips – Keyword Density

Keyword density is an indicator of the number of times the selected keyword appears in the web page. But mind you, keywords shouldn’t be over used, but should be just sufficient enough to appear at important places. If you repeat your keywords with every other word on every line, then your site will probably be rejected as an artificial site or spam site. Keyword density is always expressed as a percentage of the total word content on a given web page.

Suppose you have 100 words on your webpage (not including HMTL code used for writing the web page), and you use a certain keyword for five times in the content. The keyword density on that page is got by simply dividing the total number of keywords, by the total number of words that appear on your web page. So here it is 5 divided by 100 = .05. Because keyword density is a percentage of the total word count on the page, multiply the above by 100, that is 0.05 x 100 = 5%

The accepted standard for a keyword density is between 3% and 5%, to get recognized by the search engines and you should never exceed it.

Remember, that this rule applies to every page on your site. It also applies to not just to one keyword but also a set of keywords that relates to a different product or service. The keyword density should always be between 3% and 5%.

Simple steps to check the density:
• Copy and paste the content from an individual web page into a word-processing software program like Word or Word Perfect.
• Go to the ‘Edit’ menu and click ‘Select All’. Now go to the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Word Count’. Write down the total number of words in the page.
• Now select the ‘Find’ function on the ‘Edit’ menu. Go to the ‘Replace’ tab and type in the keyword you want to find. ‘Replace’ that word with the same word, so you don’t change the text.
• When you complete the replace function, the system will provide a count of the words you replaced. That gives the number of times you have used the keyword in that page.
• Using the total word count for the page and the total number of keywords you can now calculate the keyword density.

Tips for SEO-friendly website

Below is a list of 10 SEO-friendly web site design tips, if the web designers should pay attention to during the early stage of their web design.

1. Avoid the creation of the left-hand side of a website. If unavoidable, an alternative way is to set some of the text with rich keywords to the top or above the left so that the text is the first asia can be read about in search engines.

2. Headlines are rated more important than the rest of the web page of search engines. If you’d like to take advantage of this, you should have keywords in the page’s title. Since the header tag (H1) is rather high, you should format it to make it smaller.

3. Each page must be “headline” and “a description of” codes, with good keywords to describe this content. This amount is saying that the title should not exceed 9, and that the description should not exceed 20 words, so that the limits of most search engines.

4. Try not to use flash when possible. Flash can not be read that the search engines to the date and cause slow page-loading time and to get people to run away. If you really must use it to flash, I will try to make it less (for example, flash-title), and leave the other area of Web keyword-rich content.

5. Think twice on how to use graphics. Make them, which are relevant to the content of oman and use the alt tag with the relevant keywords for search engines to read, because they can not read graphics and also to visitors so that they may be something to read, when to expect the images to load.

6. Do not just use the photos link. You should always use text links to link out the importance of the content of the web site. Spider can follow image links, but, as the text links to more though.

7. Do not use frames. Some search engines can not spider web pages with frames at all. In order for other search engines that may be, they can have problems spidering it, and sometimes they too can be the index the web page.

8. Do not use too complex tables, when laying out your page, but they are regarded as being easy robots. There are a number of engines, which are difficult to navigate through to the other pages on your website if the navigation is too complicated.

9. Use an external Cascading Style Sheets and Java Script files to reduce the size of the page, and make time to download much more quickly. It will allow the spider to crawl the web page faster and can help the ranking.

10. Use the standard HTML. Software such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, or WYSIWYG Editor often add unnecessary scripting codes, which make a page higher than is necessary and makes it harder to crawl. It will sometimes add codes, which can not be read search engines, which resulted in spider does not crawl the page, or even the whole of the site. If used, you should use them in Web Page Creator software wisely, with a good understanding of html, so that you can avoid manually, or even to remove them unnecessary scripting codes.

That’s all my 10 tips for the design of SEO-friendly websites. Enjoy the Web Design: viewed, as well as human visitors and search engines!

SEO

It is really controversial for SEO, quality of inbound links VS quantity. Many SEOs advice that you need to get your links from quality related websites, and they may go farther and say not to get links from directories or unrelated websites. But in SEO I believe that you shouldn’t believe anything you read, most of stuff that we read daily about SEO trend to tell all webmasters to stick with the best practice and stay away from gray hat or black hat stuff, but can anybody tell me why to stay away from something that really works ? Many webmasters get their websites on the top 10 spots using theses techniques

For Example, you will read every where that buying links is black hat practice and you may get penalized for it, but if you hide yourself you can go away with it and you may rank well, so what ? shall buy links or not. Another thing that I here it a lot “Don’t destroy your link profile by getting links from free directory”, what the heck are you talking about, I think who said that didn’t ever practice SEO, if getting links from free directories will destroy your link profile so that means your competitors may destroy your link profile for few bucks. Finally in my opinion, save no means to get inbound links for your website, just be careful when reciprocate.
