The CMS 50L is the cheapest pulse oximeter available today. If you’re looking for a basic oximeter, the CMS50L is for you. The price does reflect the quality though. Since the unit is FDA 510(k) certified, you know the design meets the basic requirements to qualify for approval; however, do not expect much more. If you are using a finger oximeter to monitor a health condition, or to monitor o2 levels, for safety, while participating in activities such as aviation or mountaineering, then you may want to look at another oximeter that has been tested and proven.
