Below is a list of 10 SEO-friendly web site design tips, if the web designers should pay attention to during the early stage of their web design.

1. Avoid the creation of the left-hand side of a website. If unavoidable, an alternative way is to set some of the text with rich keywords to the top or above the left so that the text is the first asia can be read about in search engines.

2. Headlines are rated more important than the rest of the web page of search engines. If you’d like to take advantage of this, you should have keywords in the page’s title. Since the header tag (H1) is rather high, you should format it to make it smaller.

3. Each page must be “headline” and “a description of” codes, with good keywords to describe this content. This amount is saying that the title should not exceed 9, and that the description should not exceed 20 words, so that the limits of most search engines.

4. Try not to use flash when possible. Flash can not be read that the search engines to the date and cause slow page-loading time and to get people to run away. If you really must use it to flash, I will try to make it less (for example, flash-title), and leave the other area of Web keyword-rich content.

5. Think twice on how to use graphics. Make them, which are relevant to the content of oman and use the alt tag with the relevant keywords for search engines to read, because they can not read graphics and also to visitors so that they may be something to read, when to expect the images to load.

6. Do not just use the photos link. You should always use text links to link out the importance of the content of the web site. Spider can follow image links, but, as the text links to more though.

7. Do not use frames. Some search engines can not spider web pages with frames at all. In order for other search engines that may be, they can have problems spidering it, and sometimes they too can be the index the web page.

8. Do not use too complex tables, when laying out your page, but they are regarded as being easy robots. There are a number of engines, which are difficult to navigate through to the other pages on your website if the navigation is too complicated.

9. Use an external Cascading Style Sheets and Java Script files to reduce the size of the page, and make time to download much more quickly. It will allow the spider to crawl the web page faster and can help the ranking.

10. Use the standard HTML. Software such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, or WYSIWYG Editor often add unnecessary scripting codes, which make a page higher than is necessary and makes it harder to crawl. It will sometimes add codes, which can not be read search engines, which resulted in spider does not crawl the page, or even the whole of the site. If used, you should use them in Web Page Creator software wisely, with a good understanding of html, so that you can avoid manually, or even to remove them unnecessary scripting codes.

That’s all my 10 tips for the design of SEO-friendly websites. Enjoy the Web Design: viewed, as well as human visitors and search engines!

When the collection of some pages load times, and the effective bandwidth for real users from around the world, you can try out changes that will improve their times. The measure the difference and keep all of which offer significant improvements. Try some of the following:

Use HTTP keepalives external objects. Otherwise, you can add another back and forth to make a second TCP three-Way Handshake for each HTTP request. If you have a concern worldwide server connection with the limits, set a timeout keepalive something short as 5-10 seconds. In addition, we expect you to serve static content other than the dynamic Web content. Thousands of links to open to moving a static image, a web server can be done 10 megs of RAM the total, while your main web server can easily eat 10 megs of RAM.

Load fewer external objects. Taking into account the requirement of management, bigger picture, only to load faster than the two smaller half its size. Figure how to combine the world the same one or two of the javascript files, and one or two external styles instead of many people, even if you have more, try the assessment, as far as their publication. If the user interface used in dozens of small GIFs the whole place, to consider the transition from the much cleaner CSS-proposals, which probably do not need so many photos. Or, download all of your common UI photos one application using a technique known as the “CSS sprites.”

If users regularly load of a dozen or more uncached or uncacheable objects on the page, you should consider the breakdown of these objects for more than four names of the host. This usually means that users may not be so many unresolved 4th connection with you. Without the HTTP pipelining, is a result of their application latency drop from an average of about 1 / 4 of what it was before.

When you create a page pictures evenly spread over four hostnames is easy to transport in the hash function, such as MD5. On the other hand, has all the signs load of goods http://static.example.com/, the establishment of four servers (for example, static0.example.com, static1.example.com, static2.example.com, static3.example. Com ) And two-bit graphics MD5 way to choose which of four hosts must be accompanied by tag. Make sure that all aspects of the same server, a consistent reference to the same file URL, or you can eventually forced to the cache.

Would you be so kind to each other hostname adds a surcharge to the overhead DNS lookup, and additional TCP three-Way Handshake. If users have switched on or daisy-chained page loads of less than dozens of objects, they see no benefit from increased parallelism and the site can actually load more slowly. The benefits to only appear on the site, with more objects. Be sure to measure the difference between the users are seen if you choose this.

The idea is relatively simple: When you create a page that give the browser a bit of information in addition to what had been the page, which you’ll be sent. If the viewer is asking the same page, once again, that this information back to you. If the matches are, what you need to send, you know, that the browser has already been copied and will send a much smaller 304 (unchanged), rather than responses to the site again. And if you’re smart about what you attach to ETag, you can bypass the most general queries, which would have gone to produce sites.

To minimize the size of an HTTP request. Often, cookies are domain-wide, which means that they are also unnecessarily sent to the browser, and every picture at the request of this area. What could have been a 400-byte at the request of a picture can be easily converted to 1000 bytes or more, when you add the cookie headers. If you have a lot of uncached or uncacheable objects in the page, and a large, broad domain cookies, use a separate domain to host static content, and make sure that never any cookies in it.

To minimize the HTTP response to the size of thanks to gzip compression in HTML and XML-based browsers, which support it. For example, the 17th of paper you’re reading, take 90ms at full bandwidth, which is connected to the user’s 1.5Mbit DSL. Or, it will take 37ms, when the compressed 6.8k. This is 53ms out of the entire page load time for a simple change. If HTML is greater and unnecessary, you’ll see even more improvements.

Use Firefox, a realistic context, the net amount is reflected in graphic timeline, what to do after the page loads. This shows Firefox, which will have to wait for one HTTP request to supplement prior to the next page and storage is growing every object loaded. YSlow extends Firefox offers tips on how to improve the effectiveness of your site.

Safari offers a tip for the working group has been hidden features, the browser that provides some information about the timing. Or, if you’re familiar with the HTTP protocol and the TCP / IP packet data, you can see what happens through the tcpdump, ngrep or necessary. These instruments are indispensable for all kinds of network debugging.

After the official release of wordpress 2.6 that i wrote yesterday, i also doing major upgrade to this blog which was using wordpress 2.5.1 as the publishing system, and so what can i say about the newest wordpress release? whoaaa… awesome!!

The main novelties are heading for WordPress 2.6 revisions, which allows a comparison of current and older versions of content; Press This is a bookmarklet which simplifies the process of creating content and links to other sites Google Gears support, which accelerates many publishing using a local cache for some pages, and the topic Overview support, which allows the administrator to preview their site will be with a new user interface, without pushing the life. These are all welcome additions, and they are based on the top of an already mature, feature-rich core.

Small improvements have been the icing on the cake for 2.6. What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) editing is generally better with a better image, integrated word, and renewed TinyMCE. A number of improvements to security at their disposal, including improved support SSL, and a number of improvements cookies and a database of interaction.

Whenever a major upgrade to a software arises, backward compatibility is a concern. With nearly 2 million downloads of WordPress 2.5, it is an incumbent users to consider. Fortunately WordPress 2.6 is fully compatible, including plug-ins, so that the upgrade should be easy. Fresh also installs a breeze, as WordPress continues its tradition of a simple less minutes to install.

Here I found a new impressive opensource blogging or cms system that combining a blog with wiki, what a nice hybrid function. The good thing i like in this opensource cms is the ajax feature that comes in it, with ajax-based cms, you could improve user’s experience without messing with bandwith and another general database query issues, that’s my opinion. anyway try this cool one!

e107 is a content management system written in PHP and using the popular open source MySQL database system for content storage. It’s completely free, totally customisable and in constant development.

e107 takes its origin from code originally used on the LiteStep websites. Jalist who was responsible for the development of those websites, wanted to re-use some of the code from litestep.net and ls2k.org and built a more modular system. This system could then be used as a codebase for other people to create their own community driven websites.

The codebase was maintained solely by Jalist until version 0.612 when a development team was formed. The development team now develops, maintains and builds releases for the e107 system.

In 2006 and 2007, e107 was nominated by the public as one of the five finalists in The Packt Open Source Content Management System Award, the results can be found here packtpub

The current stable release is 0.7.11. This version is an almost total rewrite of the 0.6x tree and includes hundreds (maybe thousands) of added features and bugfixes.
